A little about ourselves
The New England New Music Ensemble (N.E.N.M.E.) is a chamber music group that performs both unique and daring original compositions along with arrangements of songs you wouldn't normally associate with chamber music. From Pink Floyd to Andrew Lloyd Webber... from The Beatles to Genesis... from Frank Zappa to Hieronymus Bosch.
Because of its intimate nature, chamber music has been described as “the music of friends.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe described chamber music as “rational people conversing.” This conversational paradigm has been a thread woven through the history of chamber music from the end of the 18th century to the present and plays a strong role in the music of The New England New Music Ensemble.
